i like the unusual setting and the warm colors. I keep wanting to look at it, and i want to see what else is just outside of the frame. I also like the guy's facial expression,i think it matches the feeling of the photo
i was really drawn to the first image because of the ghost like quality of the figure. most images have a trail to show movement but in this case the person is transparent to suggest both and absence and a presence which i find very interesting. the color of the photo also add to this mood of past and present because it reminds me of old photographs in an album.
I agree with the other comments that this photo has a ghost like quality to it. I also like the warmness of the colors and the light that reflects off of him making it seem like whether he was a ghost or not, he was definitely there.

ReplyDeleteThe guy looks like a ghost as if he is sitting in a spot he once used to sit at. The layering makes me wonder what cloths are from which photograph.
