  1. I appreciate the relationship that is created between these two images. There is a nice juxtaposition between this darker, nighttime piece and the innocuous, sunnier image; it makes me think of potential narratives between the two people.

  2. I like the passing of time expressed in the bottom piece. In one layer, the figure's back is to us, however, in another layer the figure is facing us. A viewer can really sense that the figure is in a spinning motion. Also, the setting (the sunny day and the green grass) make this picture feel a little nostalgic. Overall, I think it is very effective.

  3. Although these are clearly two different people, I think the photos together clearly demonstrate how differing our actions can be from day to night. I think it would be hard to appreciate one without the other, so it was a splendid idea to use the two in unison.

    Also, wonderful displays of color in both instances.

  4. I like how the light seems to be more visible than the other arts. It gives it emphasis. It's cool because the lighter is what lights the cigarette.

    Gotta love summertime sun and green grass.
