  1. This is a beautiful picture. The colors are really bold and the movement in the hair looks really great layered. You can really appreciate the layers because in one layer the eyes are open and in another they are closed. This effectively shows time.

  2. Very cool! It is cool how distorted, disturbing her face looks in contrast to her beautiful red hair and soft looking skin. This contrast really draws the viewer in and the movement in in the face and hair created by the layers creates great movement to carry the viewers eye around the piece.

  3. The layering makes this piece something completely different. I don't mean this in a bad way, but she looks creepy, like something out of a horror film. It gives off a sense of disturbance and sadness.

  4. I really like this one, you created a completely different creature by layering some very pretty photos. Its really cool how you can see that the original layer is such a pretty photo but you have completely transformed the figure.

  5. Honestly, my first impression of this picture was that it reminded me of Sloth from the Goonies. This is a very interesting picture. The distortion created by the layered images portrays a somewhat frightening creature. In addition, the creature of the overall image appears sad or deep in thought.

  6. I think what strikes me most about this image is how the layers work together to make a new face that is completely unlike your model's. the layering of colors makes them more vibrant in important places and the decisions you made about which parts of face would come through in each layer really demonstrate your skill with using the opacity and saturation tools on photoshop.
